Active Shooter Defense Kit
For school resource officers, corporate security, and others looking for rapid access protection in case of an active shooter incident we offer our active shooter defense kit, comprising one Delta Defender ballistic shield, one MICH ballistic helmet in black, and two Tactical Electronic Distraction Devices. All come in a nondescript 12"x20"x8" plain brown box for discreet at-the-ready storage.
The Delta Defender is an intermediate-sized version of our popular Delta line of rifle shields. Dimensions are 12"x20" and it weighs just 12 lbs. Total coverage is about 2.5x that of a standard 10x12" torso plate, with the added benefits of no risk of blunt trauma to the torso and an immediate grab-and-go capability - no fussing with putting on body armor in a stressful situation. It comes with a white polymer coating since there is no need for the extra weight and expense of Rhinolining for this application. Like our other Delta products it is NIJ Special Type* rated as follows:
- 5.56x45 mm 55 grain M193 full metal jacket at 3100 fps
- 5.56x45 mm 62 grain M855 green tip penetrator at 3100 fps
- 7.62x39 mm 123 grain PS full metal jacket at 2400 fps

The Tactical Electronic Distraction Device "TEDD" is an electronic flashbang type device, which combines a brilliant strobe and a piercing siren to distract and disorient an active shooter. Unlike a traditional flashbang grenade, there is no risk of fire with a TEDD, and it is safe to use when innocent bystanders may be in the area. TEDDs may also be used in strobe-only mode as beacons to help identify safe evacuation routes, locations of casualties in need of medical attention, and for other signaling purposes. The TEDD is rechargeable and reusable, making it great for inexpensive training.

- 2600 lumen strobe and/or 120 db siren functions distract and disrupt active shooters
- Programmable 2-10 second delay before activation
- Can be dropped up to 20 feet and submerged up to 10 feet
